In the 1950s, the Jones Royal Motor Inn came to life in multiple phases, surrounding a home nestled in the center of the parking lot. From the 50s to the 80s, our beloved Jones Motel welcomed guests with open arms, offering the best modern amenities just steps away from the bustling center of Royal Oak.
Unfortunately, in the early 2000s, the property started to look a bit shabby. But that’s when the local business owners stepped in with a grand plan to restore this once-stunning structure to its full glory – and boy did they succeed!

The ownership group swooped up this snazzy hotel in 2014 as members of the community with strong ties to its history. They’re all about keeping its past alive while looking towards the future! Fast forward to 2023… local business owner and ex city board member, Jim Rasor, snatched up the ownership group! His big goals? Keeping that super cool and unique boutique experience for all guests!
