We're Royal Oak's Hip, Local, & Social Boutique Hotel!
But our story doesn’t begin there…
Built in the 1950’s as the Jones Royal Motor Inn, the property came together in 3 phases built around a house in the center of the parking lot. Throughout the 50’s, 60’s, 70’s, and 80’s the Jones Motel offered guests of Royal Oak modern amenities steps from its downtown.
As the property fell into disrepair in the early 2000’s local business owners saw an opportunity to restore this once gorgeous and modern structure and breathe new life into it once again.
Locally Owned & Operated
The present ownership group purchased the hotel in 2014 as members of the community with strong ties to its history and goals to continue to keep its past alive in its future.
All-Inclusive
In an effort to provide guests of the hotel an all-inclusive experience, the hotel offers plenty of amenities included with every stay. These amenities include free parking, wi-fi internet, specialty coffee and hot chocolate in the lobby, live entertainment throughout the summer, and bluetooth room keys to ensure that as long as you have your phone you will never be unable to enter your room from leaving your room key behind.
Community Focused
In 2021 Hotel Royal Oak set up an outdoor concert series to provide members of the community and guests of the hotel an option to get out of their homes and enjoy a safe outdoor space together again.
In partnership with businesses in the community, Hotel Royal Oak has also been providing guests of the hotel with discounts and promotions at several privately owned gems throughout Royal Oak’s downtown district.
