1. Skate with Santa
Royal Oak has a new ice rink located in Centennial Commons Park on Third and Troy. For the first time you will have three opportunities to skate with Santa on the new rink this December! These events will take place on December 9th, 10th, and 11th. There will be several radio stations on site as well as hot chocolate and marshmallows for roasting over the fire. 2. Royal Oak Jingle & Light Parade

3. Santacon Pub Crawl
Put on your best Santa costume, ugly sweater, or holiday attire for this pub crawl Saturday December 17th starting at 4pm! Purchase tickets to get free entry to the best bars with cash prizes for best costume, up to 50% off drink specials, up to 20% off select food specials, and live music! 4. Detroit Zoo Wild Lights
With over 5 million LED lights illuminating trees, buildings, and animal sculptures through a half mile trail, this immersive experience has quickly become a bucket list event. Tickets must be purchased in advance and no tickets will be sold at the entrance. This event will be taking place from 5-10:30pm December 8th-11th, 15th-23rd, and 26th-31st. 5. Whiskey and Wine Festival
Hosted by the Royal Oak Farmers Market at 316 E 11 Mile Rd, this event kicks off Saturday December 10th from 6-10pm! 6. Hip-Prov All Star Holiday Show
Mark Ridley’s Comedy Castle, located at 310 S Troy St, is hosting a one night only holiday hip-hop based improv show December 21st starting at 7:30pm! 7. The Jinkx and DeLa Holiday Show
